That decision is entirely yours, I'll take my lead from you. We can definitely chat about it and work out what works best for you. ( ie: in your studio if you're an artist, or a favourite family walk spot) I certainly have some good Location ideas, particularly if we're talking beaches !

I usually get in touch with Clients a few days before our session to sort out the final details, so we can discuss a way forward then. The weather can make a huge difference to the finished photos so it's something to consider. I'm always happy to embrace Raincoats & Wellies, but if you're happier postponing or taking it indoors then no problem.

Please don't worry, just let me know & we'll rearrange the session

Unless we've pre- arranged a large family group for a special event. I think 6 is the most that will work for a standard session 

Of course ! They're a part of your Family too and I'm a big Dog lover  (hopefully I won't take more photos of them, than you ....)

Usually anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, I've guidance on this depending on which package you want to book. But I'm not the type to set a Timer and if the light is good and everyone is still happy I'm not going to end the session prematurely.

If you want to add some more Traditional Posed Photos to your session, then we definitely can, but my style is more natural usually. I'm happier catching photos of you in action. Candid shots feel more true to life. Plus I think it helps if you're a bit wary of being in front of the camera if the Photographer isn't very obtrusive. But I can also offer some gentle guidance if you're a bit nervous though.

The easy answer is soft, natural & relaxed. I'm drawn to quiet moments, gentle light and honest details.

I try to be as calm & unobtrusive, letting the moments unfold naturally. My editing is soft and filmlike.

Whatever you feel the most 'you' in.

It can help if you're all wearing similar colours, and no massive logos would be great. But if you're 11 year old Son lives in his favourite football shirt, who am I to say He can't ? I don't want to make them more uncomfortable.

My turnaround time for editing is usually pretty swift, unless I'm really booked up. 

You can certainly expect to get your online gallery within 1-2 weeks.

Anywhere within a 40 mile radius of  Crediton EX17 6NH will incur no extra charge. (this covers nearly all of Devon)

I totally understand the curiosity ! But I don't share the RAW or unedited files. and here's why : RAW files are large, unprocessed image data straight from the camera...like the ingredients before the recipe. The final photos you receive are carefully edited in my signature style, with the light, tone and colour balanced to reflect the feeling and story of your session. 

It's a bit like hiring a writer and asking for their notes instead of the finished story. Part of why clients choose me is for the soft, honest aesthetic I bring to the final images, so rest assured, I'll deliver a gallery full of thoughtful, fully edited moments ready to be treasured.
